Adela is a witch that has one purpose... revenge. From what I gather she served the same purpose as a human as she was betrayed OVER and OVER. She was a practicing witch in her human life and she did so all by trial and error. Any man who would cheat on her would feel the effects. She broke up healthy marriages of the men or women that once did her wrong. She had people lose their jobs and homes if she was ever betrayed. She presented with a very standoffish a parents so was not well liked by many. I feel there is much more also that she is just not disclosing. She never did marry or have children because she was so focused on seeking revenge. It seem to catch up with Adela When somebody she knew cut her brakes and she lost control of the car and her life
