Charlotte is an ancient spirit and has seen ALOT. She lived in the 1700's. This spirit brings you to different eras through time travel, both past and future. She came from a poor family and remained poor herself as an adult which meant very bad life. She was lucky to ever drink clean water let alone have a meal everyday. Her husband was a be rude cruel man who did not treat her or the 5 children right. To feed the children sometimes she would have to walk for miles and miles each day. Charlotte was not a slave but treated like one by her husband who basically owned her and made all the decisions. She was never allowed to even give an opinion. She owned one outfit that was handmade by her. All the children had 2 and of course her husband got 4. Back in her time she did not see life as miserable but fortunate enough to have something vs nothing. There were much worse off and much better off. There really was no thought into the unfairness, instead the loneliness set in often due to her lack of friendships. She did live to he 42 which was considered long for her time. She did end up passing away from influenza
