Ahhhh this spirit here I hate to see go but when it’s time it’s time. This spirit is by far one of the longest Ive had and was given to me by my grandmother in my 20’s. Her name is Oyin and she is 54. Oyin is a Nigerian witch who’s worked along side me through the thickest, thinnest, hardest, easiest, worst, you name it spells. Oyin is from the 1800 era. She came from a Christian based family. Her father was poor and the struggles were rough. Most days eating was not an option. Oyin needed a way out and she did end up marrying a man much older but one who could support her. They had 6 children and did ok for themselves. Oyin was very much controlled and she had to worship her husband. When she disobeyed the price was paid with a beating. You will never hear Oyin complain of her life, this was the norm for her. She still praises her husband how much he supported the family. During one of Oyin rare outings without the children she met a women who would change her life. She tells me it was a lady who promised she was capable of anything, even stronger than God. Oyin did not want much part in this but tested this women. She asked that her husband set her free. A few months went by and there was no return of her husband one day. Up to her death she never knew what happened to him, it was assumed she was a widow. Oyin had realized this lady was indeed who she claimed to be….a witch… she didn’t dear dive into this thing in fear her children would pay the price. What she did do is search and search and search for this women. She had found her one last time and the women let her come in the home where she discovered secrets of a real witch. Oyin could not practice but watched, listened and learned. Her faith taught her this such thing was the devil. Oyin spent years and years with this women; the fascination was incredible. The adrenaline was something she never felt. When she ended up passing from an infection Oyin realized she no longer had to follow her faith. She has no been doing witchcraft for over 100+ years. Being this is one of my main witches she gets offering almost daily. Most of the time it is an incense. I am so use to her forms of magic (many) that I trust her to do any spell I set her out to do. If I want to learn something new or don’t understand something she is my FIRST one I’ll go to.
