That's saying...when life throws you lemons, make lemonade holds true for Sherry. Anything that proves to be difficult in your life, write down and place in her vessel. Sherry had a life that was full of grief and let downs. Her parents died when she was young and she was raised by her aunt. Her aunt was always very hard on her compared to her own children. Sherry thought the easiest way out was to get pregnant and find love. She married at 18 and had a child shortly after. Her husband being young didn't want to deal with raising a child so disappeared. She faced a lot of struggles being a single mom and it proved much more difficult that she knew. She found herself constantly working and never getting a chance to enjoy life. The older she became things seemed not as difficult. She was able to afford a simple life for her child and self. She learned that others needed help who were once her. Sherry dedicated time to groups of single parents who struggled. She helped them get on their feet. Sherry also found love again and very unexpectedly. She married and they were truly happy and she finally understood the meaning of life. Right around that turnaround is when Sherry was the victim of a random shooting.
