Although she was very intelligent career wise, every other aspect of her life was a mess. She struggled with alcohol and drug addiction, promiscuity and other destructive behaviors. Michaela didn't care who she hurt. Her parents were there for her to pick up the pieces and try to get her on the right path, but she always fell back into her bad habits. She never kept any close friends because eventually she would do something they couldn't forgive. Michaela even slept with her best friends fiance and broke up their engagement...they had been together 8 yrs! She even lost custody of her son due to drunk driving.
