Carmen should go to someone who has self confidence/security issues. She lacked both and because of this it was a trickling effect. She says her father passed before she was born. Her mother was an alcoholic and very competitive with Carmen. She always somehow managed to make her feel fat amd ugly. Even as an adult her mother always tried to out do her. Carmen wanted to cut ties but she was all she had. Carmen went in to a decent career where she would meet the love of her life. After they had children Carmens mother had something negative to say about them since her boy was deaf. She blamed Carmen and it seemed as though she believed her. Carmen buried herself in her family life and tried to ignore her mother. She believes her mother set up her death but doesn’t go into details.
