Shanice has had plenty to say this year, more than normal. She is a spirit who wants Equality for ALL minorities. She’s been extremely vocal about the BLM which I won’t get into as it was such a long investigation. Shanice grew up and lived in a time where racism was huge. Her parents prepared her as much as they could for the real world but she had no idea just how had it was. She went on to obtain a degree and made it to executive position which was challenging in her time. She tells me the racism was still there as the black community was not allowed to finance a home even though they were successful. When she married and had children of her own it was a devastating time. Her children were beaten and picked on while attending school and this was something that couldn’t be escaped because of their color. Shanice made the tough decision to step down from her position and home school the children. Life became
Much more difficult as her husband made very little but this sacrifices as to be made. Shanice never saw a day where the gate went away, it saddened her especially for her children’s future. She passed away in her mid 40’s from diabetes complications. She says we have come much further but hopes to see it get even better.
