You may use for good fortune, good karma, protection of anyone you ask not limited to yourself. The really uniqueness is that the Shikigami can be used to curse people, some of your worst enemies. It's a double sword as the Shikigami acts as dangerous or wonderful on its masters behalf. The form taken can be an animal, a human, a ghost, or whatever they choose. The magic powers within a Shikigami have no one way direction and can be used many ways.
