Puri considers herself a miracle worker aka wish grantee. She sees all the things that need to be overcome before you wish can be granted and will move any obstacles. No she is NOT a witch or a djinn! In her country women were often mistreated and bowed down to men, first fathers/brothers and then husband. She never gave this a second thought until coming to America. She witnessed first hand how privileged we were. I am unsure why she came here but it was with her husband on many occasions. Each time she became more and more comfortable. When her husband would leave she would leave to explore without him knowing. This lasted many years and she became too comfortable to where she was caught. Disobeying and what he accused of of infidelity was a no no. She is unsure about the night she died but knows her husband had it planned.
