Martina really threw me off because her voice was high pitched and then of course the vessel. However I was taken by surprise to see the power she has. This witch was born and raised in Mexico and loves her culture. Well aware of the violence it doesn't take away the history and people of Mexico. Martina was a widow at age 27 and had 5 children. All the children were girls who gave her a run for her money the older they became. The family suffered great financial burdens and this is when her daughter had introduced Martina to her "people". These people were the forbidden witches that people have heard of but never met. Martina at first was in disbelief her daughter had walked this path and she had not known. Initially she blamed herself for what she thought was an evil way. However, she agreed to let her daughter show her a few things along with these women. She learned these women were good hearted people who wanted bad things for evil people. She quickly realized all this time she had the wrong impression thanks to society over the decades. Martina started joining her daughter and embracing these women. She began to learn from them, practice. She even would go to Catemaco the first Friday in March for the ceremonies to recharge and clear her negative energy. The longer Martina practiced the more she was blessed even though she was doing dark magic. She eventually taught all her daughters and as a family they worked together. Sadly, Martina passed away in her sleep but her daughters still practice to this day as does she.
